Research underpins the relevance of business associations in a knowledge and information driven era.
The GNCCI conducts research on issues affecting its member-firms and that of the business community.
Both micro and macro data are acquired and analyzed to identify opportunities for value addition, better financial growth, improved profits, expansion of client base and job creation. Through various engagements and platforms, the Chamber assists members in resolving challenges identified through research, with relevant stakeholders.

The GNCCI also undertakes key research projects to support Government of Ghana’s economic agenda for economic and industrial transformation of the Ghanaian economy. The findings and recommendations of these research projects serve as inputs in the design of policy and targeted business regulations. The Chamber is also engaged in the collection and circulation of data relating to trade, commerce and industry to aid decision making by business operators in Ghana.
